The reason is that margins are just too tight to cover time and materials to cut, package and send this item whilst keeping competitive with Bunnings. - Smooth Radiata face. B grade face, C grade rear
- This is a budget priced plywood and may have surface marks from the manufacturing process or inconsistent grain/colouring.
- B Grade Glue
- Sheets are not as prone to bowing or twisting compared to other types or plywood
- Produced from sustainable plantation pine resources
- As this is a natural timber product, each sheet will be different in terms of grain pattern and the presence of darker sections from inner layers of the plywood. The rear grade is also lower (c) and may have some imperfections vs the front side of the sheet.
Q. Is this the same as the plywood Bunnings sells?
A. Yes, Project Panels is a line of plywood which Bunnings also sells. We source this plywood direct from the same supplier. We have chosen to resell this product as a convenience to our local customers and to help them to get stock that has been stored correctly and not handled by every curious Bunnings customer.
Q. Is this easy to laser cut?
A. Yes, with high air pressure and the right settings you’ll get a dark brown cut. Always follow instructions provided by your laser cutter manufacturer and always run adequate air extraction when laser cutting any materials. Wait and allow the laser cutter to fully evacuate all fumes before opening the machine.
Q. Why should I buy from you and not just buy from Bunnings?
A. Just like our acrylics, we have taken a lot of time to build very supportive storage systems to keep our stock as flat as possible. Our plywood is kept out of sunlight and is always compressed with a heavy top sheet to stop sheets from changing shape and bowing. Our pricing is kept competitive with Bunnings.
