Description
This cold laminator will help to apply tapes/films to materials such as plywood or acrylic. The two rubber rollers deliver even pressure across the sheets full surface area removing the need to use felt scrapers. Cold laminators also help to apply tapes in an even and controlled way, reducing the risk of bubbles and wrinkles. There are various other use cases for this cold laminator including application of transfer tapes to vinyl or the application of printed vinyl to a substrate etc.
This cold laminator is height adjustable using the two knobs located on each side of the device.
Max Thickness: Maximum media thickness of 20mm
Roller width: The silicon rubber rollers are approximately 740-750mm wide and will be able to accommodate rolls and media up to 700mm comfortably. In most cases, tape rolls will come in set sizes such as 305mm or 610mm.
Size: The two side platforms of the laminator fold up for easy storage. The footprint will be roughly 100cm long x 20cm wide with the sides folded up.

Q. Are there any arms or supports for the tapes?
A. There are no supports for the tape roll. You can source a separate roller to hold the tape, but this would need to be positioned parallel (and above) the cold laminator rollers. We have found that tape rolls sit nicely on one side of the laminators platform and butt up against the roller nicely. Tip – Putting a small spacer under the folding platforms can also help to keep the tapes up against the roller.
Q. Can you use this to apply double sided tapes such as ORABOND 1375?
A. Yes, This cold laminator is perfect for this application.
Q. Do you need a large workspace to use this?
A. Yes, you will need enough space to feed through the acrylic sheet on either side. The size required will depend on what sheets you plan to wrap.
Q. Does this product come boxed?
A. Yes, all cold laminators will be sent out within their own box (90x30x25cm).
