Wall standoffs are used to hold a flat material (eg acrylic) to the wall. All that is required is 4 holds to be made into your material.
Design: These standoffs are a hollow shell design and not a machined standoff from solid metal.
Black: The black standoffs are a satin look and have a smooth finish.
Brushed Stainless: The brushed stainless standoffs have a slight shine to them and may show some minor scuffs. Occasionally there may be minor manufacturing imperfections around the edges, but this does not impact their functionality.
Size options:
– 12mm diameter with 15mm base (wall gap)
– 19mm diameter with 15mm base (wall gap)
– 25mm diameter with 15mm base (wall gap)
Material Width: These will hold from 2mm to 10mm acrylic. Rubber washers, screws and wall plug are included.
FAQs
Q. What size holes do I need in my acrylic design to fit these standoffs?
A. We suggest anything between a 8.5mm to 9.5mm hole for the 12mm standoffs and a 10.5mm to 11.5mm hole for the 19 & 25mm standoffs. This is slightly larger than the threads, but this is intentional as it gives some wriggle room to allow for human error when installing the screws into the wall. The standoffs have rubber washers, so they will still secure the acrylic sign properly.
Q. What size hole do I drill into the plaster?
A. We have used 4.5mm drill bit to create the pilot hole into plasterboard. You can then gently tap in the plastic wall plug. We include 2 sets of screws, with one set having a slightly wider thread for more grip.
