Print Method: White and MDF prints are made to the top surface of the material. With clear acrylic we reverse print to the back of the acrylic followed by the addition of a white layer. This keeps one side clear so you can see the print through the clear acrylic. This will be: Clear/Print/White.
This product is part of our off pre-printed range and can’t be customized. If you wish to pick your own colours or customize the print technique then please look at this listing.
Glues & Earring Toppers: Please note that some glues may react to the ink layer if directly applied. The main risk is if you purchase a clear acrylic print (which is reverse printed) to create earring toppers as the ink layer is on the back. If you are needing to make earrings toppers with a clear acrylic print, consider applying a layer of water based cabots cabothane to the back ink layer first. This will act as a barrier between the ink and the glue. An alternative is to select the 2mm clear print option above, and to also order a 2mm clear sheet as well as add the the Orabond 1375 application service. This will then give you a 2mm second clear sheet but with an adhesive backing, allowing you to cut a small shapes to stick to the back of the ink layer. You can then glue your stud to this layer using popular glues like e6000.
Please note that we will use the colour codes provided to generate your custom printed file. Colours may look slightly different vs your screen. The material you choose can also make a slight difference to the appearance Eg MDF print vs a white acrylic print.
